Upgrading IOS - Crew Phones

This process can take upwards of 30 minutes to complete depending on the version of IOS the phone is on. Make sure there is plenty of time to complete before it is scheduled for on an ambulance.



⚠️ WARNING: Make sure the phone is plugged in an charging before starting this process.


1. Turn on and Unlock the phone
2. Navigate the 2nd Page (swipe right)
3. Click on the Other folder > Settings.

                


4.  In the Settings Menu, navigate to General > Software Update
                   

⚠️ WARNING: Before proceeding, ensure the phone is connected to the station's Wi-fi and not the cellular network.
           







5. The phone should automatically check if there is an available update, once that appears click on Update Now to start downloading the upgrade.

6. Enter the pin for the phone
7. In most cases the installation will start by itself - if not, you may need to keep an eye on it and click Update Now

SUCCESS: The iPhone has been successfully updated to the targeted version of iOS and is ready for use.
